Am nächsten Morgen ging es erneut früh los, heute zum 1. Mal auf meiner Reise nicht alleine sondern in Begleitung von jemandem aus dem Hostel. Ungewohnt nach 2 Wochen alleine unterwegs wieder jemanden dabei zu haben. Unser 1. Stopp war die Henza Insel mit dem langen Damm.

Der Wind war extrem und wir sahen doch einige Kite Surfer, weiter ging die Fahrt entlang des Meers zum Nakagusuku Castle wo wir einen tollen Ausblick über die Insel erhielten.

Die Ruine war sehr gut erhalten und durch das frühe Aufstehen hatten wir noch relativ viel Ruhe. Der nächste Stopp war der heilige Ort Seifa Utaki wo die Ruhe beindruckend war. Die Aussicht von hier auf Meer raus war wieder einmal Klasse.

Gestärkt von einem Lunch ging es weiter auf der Fischerinsel Ou wo der lokale Fischmarkt auf dem Programm stand.

Anschliessend besuchten wir noch eine Lackwaren Souvenir Shop sowie das Ryuku Glass Village. Zu meiner Überraschung war die Glasherstellung hier nicht gross anders als in der CH.

Der Abschluss des Tages bildete das japanische Nachtessen im American Village und wir genossen hier das amerikanisierte Leben ein etwas befremdlicher Anblick, welcher uns gut gefiel. Richtig k.o kamen wir spät beim Hostel an und hatten sehr viel erlebt.

The next morning I left the Hostel early. For the first time on my entire trip I was not travelling around alone I got for the day company of Julien. After travelling over two weeks alone it was a great experience not spending day alone. Our first stop was Henza Island with a long causeway. The wind was strong and it was a perfect day for surfer. After this stop we drove along the coastline to the Nakagusuku Castle where we enjoyed a great view over Island.

The ruins are in great conditions and getting up early helped us to enjoy the castle in silence. Our next stop was the sacred place Seifa Utaki, in the middle of the jungle and you were able to feel the spirit of this holy Place for Ryukyu Kingdom. After great local lunch our next stop was the Ryuku Glass Village. There is no big difference in the glass production compared to Switzerland. In the store we were meeting a robot. Our final stop in this great day was the famous American Village where we enjoyed great Japanese food and great Icecream. I really enjoyed this day and was pretty tired in the evening.
